Last Saturday I joined with eight of my party colleagues to launch our campaign as the Kildare North Fianna Fáil team. There was a great turnout of both supporters and media to hear as each candidate set out their platform ahead of the May 23rd elections.
We were joined by Fianna Fáil candidates in the European Parliament elections, Pat The Cope Gallagher MEP and Senator Thomas Byrne who set out their ambitions for the type of campaign they’ll each be running and the hopes that they have for what can be achieved in Europe.
I’ll be setting out my priorities on this site and will be detailing particular issues I’d like to see dealt with if I’m elected to represent the people of the Naas electoral area in May.
In the meantime, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish each of my colleagues on the Fianna Fáil team every success. I believe we have a very strong and capable team and I look forward to collaborating with them as we work together on Kildare issues over the next five years (we each hope!).
