I’m a member of Kildare County Council having been elected for the first time in May 2014. It’s a huge honour to have people put their trust in you as their local representative and it’s not something I take lightly.
During the campaign in 2014, I met so many people who shared their problems and ideas with me and I asked for their support in helping me tackle these issues on their behalf. Since then, so many more have come to me with their own personal stories of how they are struggling, how their communities or businesses are under pressure but also people have come to me with ideas to improve their neighbourhoods, their local club or the county in general. I’m an open and honest person and am always available to meet up and chat about whatever issue you think I might be able to help with.
My studies and working life have been business focused while my family tradition is rooted in public service. This combination of backgrounds has convinced me of the need for a more just society where those who want to do well are unhindered and those who struggle are supported.
As a member of Kildare County Council I want to focus my efforts on working with community groups and businesses to promote social and economic recovery in Kildare.
